We Deliver A Healthy Lifestyle
Our journey as a company began with a vision and desire to provide healthy, nutritious, quality and affordable food and beverage options for households in Nigeria and West Africa. This desire and vision inspires our quest to source for raw materials from the grassroot, thereby empowering our local farmers.
It all began as a desire in the heart of our CEO, Mrs Adenike Apeji. Whose desire is to see households living with healthy choices and a desire to contribute to the improvement of the food supply chain in Nigeria and West Africa. Her desire to see the rise in our locally produced food and beverages propelled her into empowering local farmers by sourcing for local materials and ensuring a safe and hygenic process is undertaken during planting, harvesting, production and processing.
We are on a mission to become a most preferred brand in the food value chain niche. We started this journey in the year 2017 in the living room of our CEO with a few bags of kuli kuli also known as peanut cookies and expanded to other products such as oil, natural honey, locally sourced rice etc. We make sure to retain the local taste of our products and ensure their accessibility to consumers and retailers alike.
The journey into the food value chain business in Nigeria started in 2017 with a sum of twenty nine thousand naira in the living room of the CEO with our flagship product known as kuli kuli (groundnut cookies). We started packaging our kuli kuli in plastics but as a company with a vision to enhance food production and packaging we sought better ways to package our kuli kuli and also preserve it, which led to sourcing for sealable packaging, through our packaging we have been able to increase the visibility of our groundnut cookies nationally and internationally.
We have grown significantly in the past seven years since our inception and we have been able to present kuli kuli as a preferred snack, making it suitable for the market with our unique packaging quality. We started in the living room of our CEO and have moved on to acquire our physical space and assets worth over 12million and made revenue of more than 58million since our inception.
As an organization we have grown immensely beyond our starting point. We have raised and empowered women through our retail opportunities, youths through our internship trainings, preparing them for employability in the market place. We have also empowered farmers, in our quest to provide healthy food choices for families we source for our raw materials directly from the farms and making sure which have empowered the farmers and created a source of livelihood for them.
Our vision is to provide healthy food option that are locally sourced, produced and packaged for consumers, this vision has helped control the quality of our products, making sure that our products are made hygienically from planting to harvesting to processing and packaging.
